Davis Teachers Association
Our association represents K-12 teachers, school nurses, speech therapists, school psychologists, librarians, and counselors in order to bargain on members’ behalf and to advocate for our students, who are at the center of everything we do.
What does Davis Teachers Association do?
- Advocate for Students
- Negotiate Working Contract
- Contract Maintenance
- Democratic Organization
We are stronger together!
Standing together, we have the freedom to achieve the education that our students deserve. We work to negotiate such things as:
- Class Size
- Access to Resources
- Manageable Workloads
- Professional Development
- Voice at our schools
Standing together, we have the freedom to negotiate a fair return for our work. In the past 3 years, DTA has negotiated a 4.5% raise. DTA also successfully ran the Measure G campaign to secure a local parcel tax that increased every cell on the salary schedule step and column with no sunset date.
